Our story

We've built from zero many times. That's the whole story.

GroundedPath was built from Jacksonville Beach, Florida. We build AI into real businesses, and we build businesses around AI products. Before we did it for anyone else, we did it for ourselves.


First we built Start Left, a security company, from nothing. Bootstrapped, then venture-backed, making money. The same people did the product, the engineering, the brand, and the sales system. We learned what holds up and what breaks when real customers show up.


Then a practicing doctor brought us a problem. We built SOPHIE with her: the product, the company, and the system that runs it. Not as a vendor. As a partner. We own a piece of it, and it runs on the same system we now put into every client.
