AI operations for home services in Jacksonville and Northeast Florida. Not an answering service. Not a software demo.

GroundedOps

Your business
is losing money.
We fix that.

Missed calls after hours. Estimates nobody chased. A business that stops when you step away. We're engineers. We build the system that answers, follows up, books, and reports, into the software you already run. You run the business. Not the phone.

The connection and rules between your phones, your software, and your people.

Where the money goes

You run a service business. Not a call center.

Every owner we meet is doing the same thing at 9 pm: returning calls, chasing estimates, fixing tomorrow's schedule. Not because you're bad at it. Because a pile of apps is not a system. The money leaks in the gaps between the phone, the software, and the people.

Industry figures put 15 to 25 percent of calls to service businesses as missed or mishandled, and fewer than half of inbound leads booked.

What leaks

The call that went to voicemail.

After 5 pm and on Saturdays, the phone goes to voicemail. The caller doesn't leave one. They call the next name on the list.

A missed call is a job somebody else got.

What leaks

The estimate nobody chased.

The estimate went out Tuesday. Nobody followed up Thursday. By Monday the customer forgot who you were.

An estimate without a follow-up is a quote for your competitor.

What leaks

Everything runs through you.

Scheduling, callbacks, complaints, the invoice that didn't send. It all lands on the owner, so the business runs exactly as fast as you do.

Operating rule 001: the owner is not the answering service.

On the job. On the phone. Both at once.

A business doesn't need more apps. It needs the system that makes them work together.

An operating layer connects the phones, the texting, the field software, and the billing you already pay for. It sets one way the work moves, follows up on its own, and puts a human name on every exception. Then somebody keeps building it. That's what we do. You run the business. Not the phone.

What we actually do

We make your phones, your software, and your people work like one business.

Most shops don't need more software. They have plenty: the phone system, the texting app, the field service software, the invoicing. What fails is everything between them: the handoffs, the follow-up, the owner stuck in the middle. That's engineering work, and it's the work we do. Not an answering service. Not a software demo. We build the layer that runs the work.

01

Answer every call

Every call, every hour, answered and logged. After hours and weekends included. The caller gets a real answer and a booked slot, not a voicemail.

02

Chase every estimate

Every estimate followed up by text, call, and email, in order, until it's a yes or a no. Nobody has to remember.

03

Book and confirm

The right tech, the right slot, confirmed without phone tag. Reschedules and cancellations handled the same way.

04

Keep the customer posted

On the way, running late, job done, invoice sent. The customer hears from you before they have to ask. Anything the system can't resolve reaches a named human.

05

Show you the numbers

Calls, bookings, close rate, cash, in one place every Friday. Fixed when it drifts, and the next piece built when you're ready.

Not an answering service. Not a software demo. Engineers, building the way your business runs.

An answering service picks up the phone and sends you a message. A software vendor sells you another login. We're the team that built and sold its own software, and we build the operating layer your business runs on, inside the tools you already pay for. Then we keep building.

Every truck on the board. Every call on the record.

AI operations · Jacksonville and Northeast Florida · GroundedOps

First outcome

The first thing we fix is usually the phone.

It's where the most money leaks and where the most apps get bolted on. Answer, chase, book, hand off: four steps, one visible path, a human owner at the end of it.

01

Every call answered

Every call, text, and web form, from every hour of the day, enters one visible path. Nothing sits in voicemail. Nothing waits for Monday.

02

Every estimate chased

Open estimates get followed up in order, by text, call, and email, until the customer says yes or no. The ones that say yes get booked on the spot.

03

Booked and confirmed

The right tech, the right slot, the right address, confirmed. Reschedules and cancellations flow back onto the board without a phone call.

04

Exceptions reach a named human

The upset customer, the odd request, the job that doesn't fit: each one reaches a named person, on time, with the context. Not a queue. A person.

An operations dashboard showing calls answered and missed, the lead pipeline, revenue, and jobs completed.

Category correction

Not an AI receptionist.

An engineered, accountable front-office layer for the trades.

The answering service doesn't own the handoff. Neither does the software. People do. The system just makes sure the handoff happens.

—Replaces the pile: CRM, prospecting, the intent data on who's shopping, follow-up, customer success, and partner/affiliate distribution

The revenue system

Everything the agency's funnel promised. Then the rest of the customer.

Groundwork RevOS: a customer record with buying signals, the follow-up plan, and the safeguards a person approves.
Groundwork RevOS: a customer record with buying signals, the follow-up plan, and the safeguards a person approves.

You don't need GoHighLevel. You need the system that runs the whole customer.

Groundwork is the revenue operating system we built and run ourselves. For a shop it runs the whole customer, not a funnel: the ads and campaigns, run through it and measured to booked jobs; every lead answered and chased until it's a yes or a no; the review asked for; last year's customers brought back this season; one record of every customer from first click to repeat job. It replaces the agency's rented funnel and the pile of tools under it. Then we engineer the connections to your phones and your field service software on top of it, so it runs inside the business you already have. Set up once, it runs on its own inside rules you set, and you see the numbers.

—Ads and campaigns run through it and measured to booked jobs, not clicks

—Every lead answered, every estimate chased to a yes or a no, every review asked for

—Seasonal reactivation and one record of every customer, first click to repeat job

—Connected to your phones and your field service software: our engineering, built on top

—Already on GoHighLevel? You won't need it. We move what works, retire the rest, and shut off the subscription.

Exit Incubation™

Selling in the next two to seven years? Build the value first.

Buyers pay for a business that runs without its owner. Most exit planning starts at the deal, when that's already decided. Exit Incubation™ puts the operating system in while you still own the business, so the EBITDA is up, the owner dependency is down, and the systems are documented before anyone opens the books.

EBITDA up. Calls answered, estimates chased, last year's customers back. The revenue the business was already earning the right to.

Owner dependency down. The schedule, the follow-up, and the exceptions run on a system with named owners. Buyers call it key-person risk. You'll call it a weekend.

Systems documented. Every workflow written down and running, so diligence is a walk-through, not an excavation.

Twelve months out, there's time to clean up. Three years out, there's time to change the number.

Who builds it

Engineering on your side of the counter. By people who built their own companies, down the road from yours.

GroundedOps is the home-services program from GroundedPath AI, an engineering team based in Jacksonville Beach. Not an agency. Not an answering service. The people who took Start Left Security from zero to market, built SOPHIE inside a working practice, and run Groundwork every day. We work in Jacksonville and Northeast Florida because we can be in your shop for kickoff, and back when something drifts. Trust is table stakes here, so it's built in.

Straight answers

The questions owners ask on the first call. Answered the way we'd answer them in your office.

What does GroundedOps cost?

The Ops Review is free. Start is $10,000 for three weeks. Build is from $35,000 over 60 days. Run is $5,000 or $10,000 a month with a three-month minimum. Groundwork on its own is $299, $699, or $1,499 a month; inside Build and Run it's included. The prices are published here and they don't change on the call.

Is this an answering service?

No. An answering service picks up the phone and sends you a message. We build the system that answers, follows up, books, updates the customer, and reports, inside the phones and software you already run, with a named person for anything it can't resolve.

Do you work with ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or Jobber?

We build around the field service software you already run rather than replacing it, including the platforms most Northeast Florida shops use. If your software has no way to connect, we tell you in the Ops Review, before you spend anything.

We already use GoHighLevel. Do we have to switch?

Not on day one. Groundwork does what GoHighLevel was rented to do, and then the rest of the customer: ads measured to booked jobs, follow-up, reviews, reactivation, one record per customer. Most shops retire GoHighLevel inside the Build: we move the automations that work, bring the contacts over, and shut off the subscription. If parts of it work, they keep running until the switch is clean.

How fast is it live?

The first piece, usually the phone, is live in three weeks. The full loop is live in 60 days, or we keep building until it is.

Where do you work?

Jacksonville and Northeast Florida: Jacksonville Beach, Ponte Vedra, Nocatee, Orange Park, Fleming Island, St. Augustine, and Fernandina Beach, across Duval, St. Johns, Clay, and Nassau counties. We're based in Jacksonville Beach and kick off in your office. Outside the area, ask. We take a few remote engagements.

What size business is this for?

Owner-run service businesses from about $1 million to $15 million in revenue, with a few trucks and an office that can't keep up, and the groups buying them. One-truck startups and side businesses: not yet.

Do I have to change how my team works?

Your techs keep doing the job. Your office manager keeps her desk. What changes is that calls, estimates, and handoffs stop depending on who remembers. We train your team in the work itself, at the shop, not in a classroom.

Who owns the data and the accounts?

You do. Phone, text, and software subscriptions stay in your name. Your customer data stays yours. If we ever part ways, the record goes with you.

What happens after I fill out the form?

A person reads it, calls you within one business day, and sets a 30-minute Ops Review at your shop. No automated sequence. No pitch deck.

Can this help me sell the business?

Yes. That's Exit Incubation. If you're two to seven years from a sale, we install the system while you still own the business, so the EBITDA is up and the owner dependency is down before a buyer looks at the books.
